Help us support “Wreaths Across America” on December 13th, 2025 at the Edgewater New Smyrna Cemetery.
Our Young Marines are participating in showing our Veterans, active military, and their families that we remember their service and sacrifices they have made to protect our freedom as Americans.
It is $17.00 to sponsor a wreath and the Volusia Young Marines receives a $5.00 donation for every wreath that is purchased through our direct link:

Volusia Young Marines have been assigned the upkeep of the Jack Bolt Memorial at New Smyrna Airport. We need to swing by here and there and wash the plaque with water only, dry, and weed the flower bed. If this is something you would like to participate in or is in your normal route, please let me know. Those interested will receive a bucket, water bottle, and rag. I plan to schedule a unit visit to this memorial about every 2-3 months, or as needed. If you swing by and do some weeding, you will receive 1 hour of community service.
The VFW Post, where we have our meetings, allows Volusia Young Marines to come in on during their meals and help wait the tables. Young Marines will walk around, pick up empty plates and ensure tables are cleared for the next guest. If you would like to volunteer at anytime, please see UC for details.
